Knitters and Quilters

People meet on Wednesdays at 9:30 to 12 noon to create knitted, crocheted, or quilt projects for the community.

But you don't need to be a knitter or quilter to join. 

This group of "Knitters and Quilters" has been meeting for over 35 years.

Projects:

• Prayer Shawls for people recovering from illness or grief.
• Afghans for palliative care patients.
• Hats for babies at the hospital.
• Teddy Bears for the hospital.
• Baby quilts.
• Poppy Project

Poppy Project

The POPPY PROJECT began in 2021 to mark the centenary of the poppy as a symbol of peace and remembrance.  Over 6,000 knitted or crocheted poppies were installed flowing from the church bell tower and throughout the church property.
